Chatra Launches First Mother Special Newborn Care Unit for Improved Maternal and Infant Health

Chatra district has launched its first Mother Special Newborn Care Unit (MSN-CU) at Sadar Hospital, aiming to provide integrated care for mothers and newborns. This initiative focuses on immediate Kangaroo Mother Care and a zero-separation policy, ensuring mothers and babies stay together for improved health outcomes and reduced neonatal mortality.
