Royal Insiders Say One of Kate Middleton & Prince William’s 3 Kids Already Have ‘Star Quality’

0

Growing up in the royal family brings a certain ease in the community. After all, it’s your destiny! One of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three kids has not only embraced the public eye — they are also exhibiting a “star quality” that can’t be taught.

After Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, joined their parents for their annual walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate on Christmas Day, many people noticed the confidence and grace of all of the kids. The siblings “showed their burgeoning independence,” according to Hello!, and separate from their parents to offer hugs, shake hands, and greet those lined up along the walk.

But it was Princess Charlotte who spectators described as having “star quality.” One fan told the outlet about the kids, “I was so impressed by how well-mannered and how charming they were, how gracefully they carried themselves. They do it with such ease, especially Charlotte. She’s trailing behind her brothers, off doing her own thing, taking selfies.”

As for George, second-in-line to the throne, he seemed very grown-up at the event. “He displayed a quiet confidence and maturity,” a bystander told Hello! “It’s crazy to think that he’ll be a teenager when he does this next year.”

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond also noticed the confidence the children displayed at this intimate public outing. “The children are an absolute delight to see at occasions like this,” she told The Mirror. “I think William and Catherine have done a wonderful job in acclimatising all three children to public life.”

And even she was impressed by Charlotte. “I was struck, in particular, by how confident young Charlotte seemed on Christmas Day,” Bond said. “She was launching into the crowd by herself, no longer with her mother’s guiding hand on her shoulder, chatting with the well-wishers who’d gathered, bending down to shake hands with wheelchair users, and even giving one or two members of the crowd a big hug.”

Commenting on George and Louis, Bond said, “George, meanwhile, seemed full of the joys of Christmas and was happy to pose for photos by himself. Louis, meanwhile, was showing his dad who was boss by refusing to don a woolly hat which a member of the public had handed to William. It was a charming family scene, and the Wales’s took longer than any of the others to work their way along the crowds.”

Last month, the royal trio attended their mom’s “Together at Christmas” carol service, where Charlotte performed a special piano duet with Middleton. After the outing, royal author Robert Jobson commented on the kids’ “natural ease.”

“George, Charlotte and Louis show impressive poise at public appearances, and they have developed a natural ease in front of cameras and crowds,” Jobson told Hello! at the time, crediting the Waleses’ modern parenting. “There’s no doubt that this has a lot to do with the way they have been brought up, and the modern monarchy that their parents are shaping,” he explained.

We can’t wait to see what the young royals get up to in the new year!
