B47bluesIwata in midfield is one of the reasons we move the ball so slowly. He’s ponderous and so many times he plays safe moving it backwards. The difference with Doyle in that role is stark, but Iwata does at least give us some presence which Doyle doesn’t
Said this for a while, we need Doyle and horrible b*stard next to him who does all the dirty work, particularly away from home.
