NPCI may push deadline to stop pull payments on UPI to minimise disruption

The pull feature allowed users to request funds from each other. Specific merchant UPI IDs could also initiate payments through this. However, the feature became a problem after fraudsters started using it to dupe unsuspecting consumers.
