'Very scary': Ex-Scientologist issues warning after Trump seen 'hanging out' with members
Former Scientologist Leah Remini warned that President Donald Trump's administration has been "infiltrated" by members of the secretive church.
Conservative broadcaster Erick Erickson noted on Tuesday that at least five Scientologists had been seen with Trump in the last few days.
"Lot of Scientologists hanging out in the President's orbit lately," he wrote on X.
"Yes, this is accurate, Erick, and very scary," Remini replied. "Thank you for always being aware of the dangers of Scientology and their successful infiltration of the Trump administration and the federal government overall."
It was not immediately clear which members of the church had entered the president's orbit. However, Attorney General Pam Bondi was long known to have ties to the church.
Critics have called the church a manipulative cult, but supporters say it's an established religion that helps members reach their goals.
