Titanique will open in March at the St James Theatre, which has housed the recent Queen of Versailles, Sunset Boulevard, Spamalot, Into the Woods, Frozen and more.
Marla Mindelle, who co-wrote the musical with Constantine Rousouli and Tye Blue, will reprise her award-winning role as Céline Dion when it transfers to Broadway.
Here’s a synopsis: When the music of Céline Dion makes sweet Canadian love with the eleven-time Oscar®-winning film Titanic, you get Titanique, a musical celebration that turns one of the greatest love stories of all time into a hysterical and joyful slay-fest! Featuring powerhouse voices and show-stopping numbers (plus contemporary pop culture and punchy odes to the 90s film), Titanique is a one-of-a-kind musical voyage bursting with nostalgia and heart.
Additional casting will be revealed at a later date.
During it’s Off Broadway run, Titanique also starred the likes of Frankie Grande as Victor Garber, Constantine Rousouli as Jack Dawson and John Riddle as Cal Hockley.
Titanique will run for 16 weeks at the St James, from March 26 to July 12, 2026. The official opening date is set for April 12th.
