Jones files ‘serious mental illness’ notice, which could block death penalty in Kei’mani case

Defense lawyers for Darnell Jones have formally announced his intent to assert a mental-illness claim that would disqualify him from any death sentence arising from the alleged murder of Kei’mani Latigue.
