President to honour Pattachitra artisan couple

President Droupadi Murmu will present the Shilp Guru Award and National Award in Handicrafts for 2023 to Pattachitra artisans Sudhir Kumar Maharana and Urbashee Maharana on December 9 in New Delhi. The couple, practicing Pattachitra for over four decades, are recognized for their mastery and innovation in preserving India's craft heritage.
