Qatar GP: Podium delivers 5th in WCC for Williams

In what would turn out to be a fantastic performance the Atlassian Williams Racing Team would see Carlos Sainz secure another podium for 3rd place in the 2025 Qatar GP. This result would also see the team secure fifth place in the Constructors championship. In a race that was dominated by Pirelli's requirement that no tyre should be used for more than 25 laps we would see a very early Safety Car that would see the majority of teams, incuding Williams, pit very early thus dictating their remaining strategy. As a result of this and the failure of the leading two cars to pit early this would see Carlos running close to the front and even at times as high as second. He would go on to finish the race in an amazing 3rd even with a scare late in the race where Carlos felt that something on the right front of his car had broken. For Alex starting from fourteenth he had gone for a different strategy but this would be ruined by the early Safety Car. Also his car lacked the overall pace to allow him to make forward progress. Even with this he would finish just outside the points in 11th. The Qatar race was the culmination of what was an amazing season for the team securing their 5th in the championship.
