Hobby Lobby’s $13 Rotating Tray is Perfect for On-the-Go Charcuterie
This time of year, shoppers are seeking kitchen and dining items that make their lives easier for the holiday season. Hobby Lobby has a huge selection of goods that can do just that. Whether it's a small appliance that can keep food warm for a party, a large chopping board to prep veggies and fruit, or a serving bowl to show off your prized salad, Hobby Lobby has it. And if you're seeking any festive decor to bring it all together, it's definitely the place to shop.
An affordable item I recently spotted that I simply have to scoop up is the Rotating Tray with Airtight Lid. This caddy is perfect for both housing and serving a fresh vegetable and fruit platter or a charcuterie board with all the fixins' like cheese, cured meats, crackers and crostinis, grapes, olives, cornichons and pickled vegetables, nuts and seeds, dried fruit and chocolate-covered snacks.
And because the caddy comes fitted with a circular bowl in the center, you can house your favorite dips and spreads, like dill vegetable, spinach artichoke, cranberry jalapeno, hummus, pesto, French onion or olive tapenade.
Rotating Tray with Airtight Lid, $12.99 at Hobby Lobby
The tray rotates like a lazy Susan, making it perfect to serve guests, as they can spin it around to choose the item they're hungry for. It comes with five tray sections with the round dip container in the center, which could also house additional foods like olives and pickles if you prefer. The locking lid makes sure none of the items escape and make a mess as you travel with it.
It measures 3.75 by 11.25 by 11.25 inches and holds 3.9 quarts (3.7 liters). The tray is made of BPA-free plastic and is clear and gray in color. The manufacturer recommends hand-washing only, and it should not be microwaved. However, it is freezer-safe, adding to the convenience factor.

It can also be used to prep ingredients if you're making a big meal and want to get ahead the day before. Simply tuck all of your ingredients in the caddy, click the lid in place and get it in the fridge. The next day, you'll just have to bring it all together on the stove or in the oven or crock pot. It is multi-functional, and in my book, that's when it's worth the purchase.
If you're interested in Hobby Lobby's rotating tray, it appears it can be ordered on its website to be shipped to home, or you can pick it up in store. At just $12.99 for the set of six tray sections, one rotating base and one locking lid, it can be used for just about anything for a great price.
