Sweden promises action against illegal sex doll sales
The Swedish government has pledged to combat the sale of childlike sex dolls online. This commitment follows reports of such products being sold in the country. Sweden’s Minister for Social Services, Camilla Waltersson Grönvall, expressed deep concern, emphasizing the emotional impact on parents. On Friday, the government held a meeting with child protection groups, online vendors, and agencies to address the issue. The minister stated that they are prepared to take further action, including potential legislation. This move comes after the child protection group ChildX filed a police report against Amazon and other platforms for selling these dolls.
