Dorothy Actress Bethany Weaver Breaks Silence on 'Wicked: For Good,' Shares Behind-the-Scenes Photos
Bethany Weaver is speaking out on her Wicked: For Good role!
The 30-year-old dancer and actress played the iconic role of Dorothy Gale in the movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, with her more prominently featured in the second film, though you only see her mostly from the back throughout the scenes.
Wicked: For Good just hit theaters this weekend, revealing she was the one playing the character, and it smashed plenty of box office records!
On Sunday afternoon (November 23), Bethany took to her Instagram to share some BTS photos, her thank yous and more.

“What an honour it has been to walk on the yellow brick road with my fellow Witch Hunters ???? @jbayleaf @ethanslater @omariabernard and not forgetting Oscar the dog! (Toto) ???? ,” she started out.
Bethany then thank the film studio, casting team, director Jon M Chu, costumer designer Paul Tazewell, and her hair and makeup team.

It’s been an honour to carry the legacy of the brilliant women before me who have stepped into these shoes, and embarked on the yellow brick road. I hope I have made them proud,” Bethany shared.
