A Bengaluru-based software engineer was allegedly defrauded of Rs 48 lakh by a self-proclaimed Ayurvedic healer and an Ayurvedic medicine shop. Claiming to offer a cure for sexual health issues through costly herbal remedies, the accused reportedly sold him expensive but ineffective treatments. The victim’s health has since worsened, resulting in kidney complications, prompting him to file a police complaint.
