Manchester United icon Sir Alex Ferguson has singled out one summer signing for special praise.

Ferguson believes Senne Lammens has already made a difference at the club.

He said (via Raceday RTV): “The goalkeeper has been outstanding, he has only had three or four games, but he is looking really good.”

The Red Devils agreed a deal in the region of £18.2 million to sign Lammens from Royal Antwerp on transfer deadline day.

The 23-year-old has started five times for United and is yet to lose a game.
