Queen’s Park Hospitality In The Black and White Lounge

GUESTS at The city Stadium were treated to pre-match hospitality in the Black and White Lounge – with special guests from two former Spiders midfielders.

Legend of the late-90s Graham Connell – still a familiar face around Spiders’ home matches – and more recent midfield star Jack Thomson made pre-match appearances in our busy lounge for the visit of Raith Rovers, and it proved to be an enjoyable afternoon for all those of a Black and White persuasion.

After a tour of the Spiders home in the heart of the southside, visitors sat down to a three-course meal and inclusive drinks package before the William Hill Championship match – won by Sean Crighton’s side 2-1.

Afterwards, two of the stars in black and white strips – Matty Shiels and Rickey Waugh made a bee-line for the JB McAlpine PAvilion and met with guests while still wearing their matchworn kits.

Spiders squad defender Henry Fieldson also paid the Lounge a visit to present the prizes.
