Team India Women’s Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana shows off her World Cup Trophy tattoo, fans left amazed

Team India women’s made history as they beat South Africa by 52 runs in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 finals and lifted the trophy. However, the tournament also got their new champions after 25 years.

However, after winning the tournament, the Indian women were seen filled with full of joy and happiness. The Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana lives and enjoys this moment with her team and also in a special way.

Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana gets a tattoo of the World Cup trophy on her forearm. Just below the trophy, she had ‘2025’ inked, marking the year of India’s maiden ICC Women’s World Cup triumph.

However, Smriti Mandhana was not the only one star player who got a tattoo of the World Cup on her forearm. The Indian captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, also took part in it and registered this great moment in her arm as she got the tattoo of a trophy with ’52’ and ‘2025’ added around it and makes this win memorable.

She also posted it on her social media and wrote it ”Forever etched in my skin and my heart. Waited for you since Day 1 and now I will see you every morning and be grateful.”

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video where the Indian women’s team were traveling to New Delhi from Mumbai. The purpose of the visit was special, as the team went to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi after a great World Cup win against South Africa. In the video, Smriti Mandhana can be seen happily showing off her new World Cup tattoo on her forearm, smiling proudly as she travels with her teammates.
