Russell Crowe Explains Why He Won't Marry Girlfriend Britney Theriot

Russell Crowe is explaining why he’s not planning to marry Britney Theriot.

The 61-year-old actor and 33-year-old actress are actually former co-stars, as they acted alongside each other in 2013′s Broken City. They apparently started dating in 2020.

When asked on 60 Minutes Australia, Russell said, “All these reports keep coming out saying that Britney and I are engaged and I’m going to get married again.”

“No. We are very, very good friends, and we have a wonderful relationship. My life is so joyous and happy at the moment — why ruin that with a wedding?” he continued. “Why would I go through… I’ve been married once. I know how it can go and where it can go. So I don’t need to go to that place.”

Russell was married to Danielle Spencer in 2003, separated in 2012 and officially divorced in 2018. They have sons Charles, 21, and Tennyson, 19.
