Two women drown in river in Ganjam

Two women, Lalita Padhy (64) and Sabita Gouda (40), tragically drowned in the Ghodahada river in Ganjam district while bathing on the occasion of Panchuka. One woman likely slipped into a deep gorge and was swept away, with the other attempting a rescue and also succumbing to strong currents. Their bodies were recovered by fire services after an extensive search.
