Urdu most beautiful language; Hindu-Muslim harmony vital for progress: Kiren Rijiju

Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday called Urdu “the most beautiful language in the world” and stressed that harmony between Hindus and Muslims is vital for India’s progress and unity. Speaking at the 105th Foundation Day of Jamia Millia Islamia, Rijiju lauded the university for embodying India’s composite culture and democratic values, recalling that leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Sarojini Naidu had supported its founding.
