Bus catches fire at Delhi Airport Terminal 3 with Air India plane parked nearby, video goes viral
New Delhi: A bus parked a few meters away from an Air India plane suddenly caught fire at Delhi Airport Terminal 3 on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, afternoon. The bus belonged to Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited, which provides ground services for several airlines.
A video of the bus fire at Terminal 3 is going viral on social media. It shows the bus completely engulfed in flames.

No passengers were on the bus
No passengers were on the bus at the time of the fire. It is currently unclear whether anyone was injured in the incident. A video of the incident has also surfaced, showing the bus completely engulfed in flames. The fire brigade team arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control. The investigation is ongoing.
Delhi Airport Management’s statement after the incident: Delhi Airport Management also stated after the incident, “A ground handling company bus suddenly caught fire at around 12 noon. The airport’s firefighting team responded immediately and brought the fire under control within minutes. The bus was parked at the time and there were no passengers on board. All flight operations are normal.”
