Govt clears 7 projects worth Rs 5,500 cr under electronics components scheme

India is set to boost its electronics manufacturing. Seven new projects have been approved under a government scheme. These projects will produce essential components like PCBs and camera modules. This initiative aims to significantly cut down import costs. It is expected to create thousands of jobs. India will now manufacture camera modules independently for the first time.
