Mckenna Grace Freaked Out Learning Scott Eastwood Starred in a Taylor Swift Music Video on 'Regretting You' Set

Mckenna Grace had quite the reaction when she found out her Regretting You co-star was in a Taylor Swift music video!

In a recent interview, Dave Franco and Mason Thames recalled watching the 35-year-old entertainer’s “Wildest Dreams” video, which features their co-star Scott Eastwood as her love interest.

“Scott, I don’t know if you know this, did anyone tell you that we all watched the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video on set?” Dave said in a joint interview with AP News, to which Scott replied, “No.”

Mason said, “I remember that! We all did.”

“Mckenna didn’t realize that you were the guy. Like this is a video dear to her heart, and she put it together in the moment: Scott’s the guy from the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video,” Dave continued. “She immediately called her mom. She goes ‘Scott’s the guy.’ And we hear her mom through the phone go, ‘No!’ You have a place in a lot of people’s hearts with that video.”

Scott shared how Taylor just called him up to ask him to be in the video.

“I’d never met Taylor Swift before. She called me out of the blue. She said, ‘Hey this is Taylor.’ I’m, like, Taylor who?” he recalled.

Also in their joint interview, Mason shared, “I told Scott this the first day I met him, that I thought, before I knew him, from years in advance: best-looking man I’ve ever seen.”

Back in 2017, Scott revealed that his team didn’t want him to star in the video, but he actually really wanted to do it!
