June Lockhart Dead: Beloved 'Lassie' & 'Lost in Space' Actress Passes Away Age 100
June Lockhart has sadly passed away.
On Saturday (October 25), People confirmed that the beloved actress, best known for her roles on the TV shows Lassie and Lost in Space, died earlier in the week. She was 100.
With her daughter June Elizabeth and granddaughter Christianna by her side, June died on Thursday (October 23) at 9:20pm local time in Santa Monica, Calif.

Funeral services for June will be private. In lieu of flowers, her family is instead asking for donations to be made to The Actors Fund, ProPublica, and International Hearing Dog, Inc.
Along with her starring roles on Lassie and Lost in Space, June is also known for her roles in movies including A Christmas Carol, Meet Me in St. Louis, and She-Wolf of London.
In 1948, June won the Special Tony Award for Outstanding Performance by a Newcomer (a category that no longer exists) for her role on Broadway in For Love or Money. She was one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood.
June celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this year on June 25.
