EasyCLIMB Skills Area Project Completed in Cascade Locks
We’re thrilled to share that the new EasyCLIMB Skills Area in Cascade Locks is officially complete!
Thanks to the hard work of dedicated volunteers, the site now features a variety of new elements designed to help riders of all ages and abilities gain confidence and progress their mountain biking skills. The finished skills area includes jumps, berms, drops, rock features, and wood skinnies, all rated for green and blue level riders.
In total, volunteers contributed 424 hours to the project, which is 124 hours beyond what was required for our grant match. According to the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department’s valuation, those volunteer hours represent $15,450 in donated time and labor.
