'Outer Banks' Director Allegedly Grabs Assistant & Shouts at Her, Stars Intervene
There was reportedly a physical incident on the set of Outer Banks.
Co-creator and director Jonas Pate allegedly grabbed and shook a personal assistant on set, and stars of the series intervened.

Multiple sources tell TMZ that the director “put his hands on” the P.A. and “shook her while shouting in her face” as the show resumed production on its upcoming fifth and final season in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
“Tensions were high” on the set according to the sources.
Per the report, Chase Stokes separated them and Madelyn Cline also “jumped in to de-escalate the situation.”
Production sources notably told the outlet that this was not “unusual behavior” for the director, and one said: “It’s about time that it’s made public.”
There has not yet been a statement made from the director, nor Netflix.
Jonas is also expected to be working on a second season of The Runarounds.
