Charlie Puth Opens Up About Becoming a Father After His Music Video Pregnancy Reveal

Charlie Puth is dishing on becoming a father!

The 33-year-old musician and his wife Brooke announced the exciting news last week through his new “Changes” music video.

While appearing on The Tonight Show on Tuesday (October 21), Charlie dished on him and his wife expecting their first child.

“We’re expecting a baby in March,” he dished, revealing how far along she is. “I’m gonna be a dad… I was told not to reveal the gender.”

“I hope baby likes music, because it’s the only thing I’m good at,” Charlie added.

He was also asked if he has any music planned out for the baby.

“Well, I feel like I’m gonna do what my mom did for me. My mom used to put the headphones, it was the 90s so the headphones were big, just put ‘em on her tummy. I think I listened to James Taylor, Luther Vandross and I feel like I got a wide array of music,” he said. “So, I’ll do the same thing, whether Brooke likes it or not. (laughs)”

Also on The Tonight Show, Charlie performed his new single “Changes,” and took part in a “Hundred Percent” sketch with host Jimmy Fallon.

Charlie and Brooke‘s baby coming in March arrives around the same time as his new album, Whatever’s Clever!, which is being released on March 6th!
