'The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror XXXVI' - Guest Stars Revealed & How to Stream & Watch!

An annual tradition of The Simpsons is premiering tonight (Sunday, October 19)!

The latest installment in the Treehouse of Horror series, Treehouse of Horror XXXVI, airs at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

Here’s a plot summary: “In this year’s installment of the annual fright-fest, the town is menaced by a mysterious murdering monster from out of the sewers, Krusty has a demonic special guest on his live Halloween special, and we go a thousand years into Springfield’s poseable plastic post-apocalyptic future.”

There are also several guest stars!

It stars Ike Barinholtz as Wayne the Grip, Viola Davis as the Narrator, Idris Elba as the Devil, and Michael Keaton as Hal Julian.

The first “Treehouse of Horror” aired in October 1990 during the second season.

The special series of anthology episodes features parodies of popular horror, science fiction and fantasy movies, and have become a beloved part of the show. You can watch all the “Treehouse of Horror” episodes on Disney+ as well.
