Cops set 9pm deadline for bursting of crackers

Bhubaneswar police have set a 9 pm deadline for firecracker use this Diwali to curb noise pollution, with special patrols monitoring compliance. The state's 'Agni' drive has already registered 41 cases and seized over Rs 50 lakh worth of illegal firecrackers, leading to 30 arrests. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation will also conduct early morning clean-ups post-Diwali.
