Joshua Jackson & Jodie Turner-Smith Call Off Custody Trial, Agree to Negotiate Outside of Courtroom

Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith will no longer go to trial over custody arrangements for their daughter, Juno, 5.

The couple were meant to start divorce trial on Wednesday (October 15), but it was removed from the calendar after the 39-year-old actress’ attorney filed on Tuesday (October 14).

The court documents obtained by People show that Jodie and the 47-year-old Doctor Odyssey star are working to figure out a custody deal outside of a courtroom.

They “are in the process of negotiating a custody judgment. The parties will return to the privately compensated temporary judge to resolve any impasses in the proposed custody judgment.”

Joshua and Jodie married in 2019. She filed for divorce four years later, in October 2023. Since then, the couple has struggled to come to an agreement on a custody arrangement.
