Four-star Class of 2026 prospect Jalyn Collingwood commits to Mississippi State
BY ALEJANDRO LOPEZ
Mississippi State has secured a Top-100 prospect in the Class of 2026.
Four-star forward Jalyn Collingwood will suit up for the Bulldogs as a part of their 2026 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-5 small forward chose Mississippi State over Michigan State and Ohio State. Collingwood was one of the biggest stock-risers in his class after a productive summer with New World at the 3SSB Championships.
“I’m someone who can do everything,” he told ZAGSBLOG during the summer. “I play hard, play defense, and offensively, I’m a three-level scorer.”
Mississippi State head coach Chris Jans got to watch Collingwood in person during the 3SSB Circuit, where the forward became a priority for the program.
The four-star prospect out of D.C. will join four-star guard Willie Burnett III and Ladarius Givan as the three members of Mississippi State’s 2026 recruiting class so far.
