Maharashtra govt suspends farm loan recovery in rain-affected tehsils

Maharashtra government offers relief to farmers in 34 districts impacted by heavy rains. Measures include loan rationalisation and a one-year suspension of recovery from cooperatives. Exam fees for Class 10 and 12 students in affected areas will be waived. Electricity bills for three months are also being waived. Crops across 65 lakh hectares were damaged between June and September.
