The Italian Meet

Come along if you love the country, the language or the food

Last year on a meet it came up in conversation that 3 of us spoke a little bit of Italian.  Which led us to the idea that it might be fun to have a meet with an Italian theme.  So here goes!   

It’s absolutely not necessary that you can speak any Italian, but if you do have a few rusty phrases under your belt, then this might be a nice opportunity for us all to practice our best ‘ciao’ and ‘cappuccino’.  And of course if you are fluent, please come along to encourage all of us with L plates.

Another aim of the meet will be to chat about adventures in Italy, either past or future.  Bring your maps of the Dolomites, Italian Alps, or other enticing places in Italy. 

And of course we’ll have an Italian supper on the Saturday evening.
