29-year-old woman dies in motorcycle crash on I-44 in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A 29-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash Tuesday night on I-44 in Oklahoma City.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, 29-year-old Syvannah L. Lopez was driving at excessive speeds when entering a right-handed curve on westbound I-44 near N Martin Luther King Boulevard. Lopez was said to have left the road before striking a cable barrier and was thrown from her motorcycle.
She was transported to OU Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.
OHP stated that the cause of the crash was due to excessive speed and inexperience.
