Let’s cut to the chase. DeLauter will not be joining the Cleveland Guardians for at least 6-8 more weeks. The team released an update on DeLauter’s status, revealing that he had surgery due to a hook of the hamate fracture.

The Guardians took the series from the Orioles and are looking for a sweep heading into the next road trip. The Guards have won 11 of the last 13. If you missed the game, Quincy has the recap here, but its also worth pointing out a stat the broadcast mentioned. In the previous 12 games, the Guards scored 43 runs with 2 outs.
