KFOR honored at Heartland Emmy Awards

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Members of the KFOR news team were honored at the Heartland Emmy Awards Saturday night.

News 4 was honored for having the best daytime newscast. Producer Patrick Spencer, Chief Photographer Marc Dillard and News 4's Ali Meyer accepted awards at the ceremony. Pilot Reporter Mason Dunn and Producer Eric Yandell were also a part of this award winning team.

Ali Meyer also won a second award for her outstanding reporting regarding the justice system in Oklahoma and telling the story of a woman who has spent years behind bars for the murder of her abusive ex-boyfriend.

Various other News 4 employees were also recognized for having a role in the award-winning reporting.
