Robbie was the lead singer of City High, a hip-hop and R&B group that he founded alongside Claudette Ortiz and Ryan Toby in 1999.
In 2002, City High was nominated for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group at the 44th Annual Grammy Awards for their song “What Would You Do?” from their debut album.
Shortly after, the group disbanded in 2003 with Ryan sharing in an interview that the decision to split came due to a lack of musical chemistry when it came to recording their second album.
According to TMZ, Robbie is survived by his wife and two children. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
Robbie is one of many celebrities we’ve sadly said goodbye to in 2025.
