Axis Bank shares: Operating profit before provisions and contingencies increased by 14% year-on-year, reaching ₹11,515 crore compared to ₹10,106 crore in the same period last year. However, provisions saw a sharp rise, nearly doubling to ₹3,948 crore from ₹2,039 crore a year ago.
