Just seen this debate online. Who was better Robbie Fowler or Michael Owen.
Most said Owen. I can see why, unbelievable teenager, the Argentina goal, played for 3 of the biggest clubs in the world and won the ballon d'Or.
Despite all that I think Fowler was better. Never got a proper chance with England because of Shearer and Sheringham , also Andy Cole and Les Ferdinand competing at the time. Proper natural goalscorer.
