Disney Unveils New Version of Pink Slip's 'Take Me Away' From 'Freakier Friday' - Listen Now!
Freakier Friday is coming soon and Pink Slip is back together!
The fictional band, which features Lindsay Lohan, Christina Vidal and Haley Hudson, will be reuniting on screen and on stage in the upcoming sequel, over twenty years after the original.
In the first movie, one of the big songs was “Take Me Away,” and they made a new version with updated vocals from Christina Vidal, who plays Maddie.

“Take Me Away” the only original song from the movies that will be in the sequel. Fans will also be treated to more new original songs in Freakier Friday, and the soundtrack will be out on August 1st!

Based on trailers and first look clips, it appears as though there might be another battle of the bands type competition.
Freakier Friday “picks up years after Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter (Julia Butters) of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter (Sophia Hammons). As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.”
