The Cheetah Girls 2 will be turning 20 years old in 2026 and Belinda says she still hasn’t forgotten about the experience. In the movie, the titular girl group travels to Barcelona to compete in a music competition and there, they meet Belinda‘s character Marisol.
Although the two don’t initially get along, they overcome their differences throughout the movie.
“I was nervous because it was my first movie in English, but I had so much fun and it’s such a great memory for me,” Belinda told PEOPLE and shared that the whole cast was “sweet” to her during filming.
According to Belinda, her favorite memory working on the film came from co-star Raven-Symoné.
“[We would go] every night. And [Raven-Symoné] was so funny because she would say, ‘Quiero profiteroles.’ That was the only word in Spanish that she knew and we had so much fun,” Belinda shared with the publication.
