Capital Concert celebrates hip hop

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Events are continuing on schedule at the Empire State Plaza. The Capital Concert Series returned on Wednesday.

People came together to celebrate hip hop culture and enjoy food and music. Despite the chaos of the Fourth of July, people said it's not going to dampen their spirits.

"Negativity should not break our determination to keep going," Donald Hyman, of Albany, said. "If you highlight that, it's like we're feeding the two wolves. If you feed the bad wolf, that's the one that's going to grow. If you feed the good one, that's the one that's going to grow."

More concerts will be held on Wednesdays until Aug. 6.
