Available today, the “Hungry for Heroes" doughnuts feature three new flavors inspired by DC Superheroes, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. The specialty dozen is sold in a custom designed box in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

While doughnuts might be some people’s kryptonite, others feel that these treats are a sweet reward. According to Dave Skena, Chief Growth Officer at Krispy Kreme, “We can’t promise you’ll reach Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman level by bringing a dozen doughnuts to the office or your next get-together, but you will be a hero,”
The Superman Doughnut has a sugar image of the mighty man flying out of buttercreme clouds. Biting into the unglazed shell reveals the white Kreme.
The Batman Doughnut boldly calls from the case. Filled with cookies and Kreme, the black chocolate icing is a nice contrast to the unglazed shell.

Lastly, the Wonder Woman doughnut stands out from the other filled options. The Original Glazed doughnut has a red raspberry icing. Decorated with white stars, blue sprinkles, a Wonder Woman logo, it will have people wrapped in its grasp, like Wonder Woman’s lasso.
