Anna Wintour Stepping Down as Vogue's Editor-in-Chief, New Role Revealed

Vogue‘s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is stepping down from the position after 37 years!

The 75-year-old fashion guru apparently announced the news to staffers at the magazine on Wednesday (June 25).

Vogue will be searching for someone to fill the position of head of editorial content, but Anna won’t be going too far. She’ll still be the global chief content officer and global editorial director at the fan fave fashion publication, WWD and Business of Fashion report. In her role, Anna also oversees Wired, Vanity Fair, GQ, AD, Condé Nast Traveler, Glamour, Bon Appetit, Tatler, World of Interiors, and Allure.

This move will apparently allow Anna to spend “more time to support the markets more equally.”
