Many kids stop playing with toys as they go through puberty (*cue the emotional scene in Toy Story 2 where Jessie’s kid clears her desk for makeup*), and it can be sad for parents. Sure, toys all over the house is annoying when you’re in the thick of it. But parents of teens can’t help getting nostalgic for the time their now tech-obsessed kids would play with physical toys. If that’s you, then I have some good news. This summer, you might get a glimpse of that child once again! Teens are asking for a new toy that’s going viral on TikTok, and it’ll make your mom heart so happy.

The toy that’s so popular comes from the new DreamWorks live-action movie, How to Train Your Dragon. Spin Master created a line of toys based on the film, which has amassed $358m globally, and one toy is garnering millions of views on TikTok for how lifelike and funny it is.

The Ultimate Plasma Blast Toothless is based on the film’s main dragon. Its wingspan reaches 26 inches when extended, and the dragon can flap its wings up and down, emit a glowing plasma-like mist, and make different sounds as it stands and dive bombs. It’s a cool toy on its own — any kid would like it — but teens are wanting it for a different reason. Videos of Toothless moving his mouth like he’s recreating famous movie scenes have gone viral because they’re so dang funny.

One video has 79.8 million views (!!), which features Toothless moving his mouth to a famous sound of a man showing off his plate and saying “blah, blah, blah, bleh, bleh, bleh, blu, blu, blue.” The creator makes Toothless move his jaw and his head and dance in the cute clip and people are obsessed. “This is why I am paying for internet🤣🤣,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “This video made me want to go to target and buy myself a toothless toy lol.”

Another video, with 933.7k views, is set to a sound from Shrek, where the gingerbread cookie asks, “do you know the muffin man?” This one, with 5.4 million views, is set to a sound from Dance Moms and captioned, “I lowkey got this toy to do this.” These TikToks are so spot on and funny that even if our kids don’t want one, we want to buy a Toothless toy anyway!
