Wilton man charged with brandishing a machete
WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office made an arrest on Monday after an investigation into a domestic incident in Wilton. William Barber, 63, of Wilton, is facing multiple charges.
On June 23 just after 8:30 p.m., deputies responded to a reported altercation at a home on Ingersoll Road. Officers determined that Barber allegedly brandished a machete during a dispute with another person, threatening to attack the victim with the blade.
Barber was taken into custody at the scene and was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing. He was held at the Saratoga County Jail after being arraigned at Wilton Town Court.
