Popular Food Chain's Cryptic Post Has Internet Buzzing

A major restaurant chain just made a big, cryptic announcement, and now followers are trying to figure out what they are hinting about.

Chili's Grill & Bar dropped two cryptic posts on June 22, one on X and one on Instagram. On X, they wrote: "Chilli's is coming soon ????????????????????," purposefully misspelling their name with two L's instead of one. And a customer replied, "This is the energy we need coming into summer."

On Instagram, they posted a screenshot of a Google search for "Chilli's" with two L's, and Google asking "Did you mean: Chili's???"

So far, Chili's hasn't elaborated more on what they mean, but most customers think they are hinting about a new menu item.

One customer guessed on X, "Lime margaritas time," to which Chili's replied, "Wooooo."

Another person guessed that Chili's might "bring back happy hour appetizers," several people hoped the original crispers might return, and several others guessed the tweet meant that they were opening a new location.

"Please say you're bringing back the ICEBERG," another person wrote, referring to a beer margarita.

Another follower guessed, "Frosted Kahlua coffee?? That would HIT in the summer."

Meanwhile, in response to the Instagram post, one of the most common guesses was a triple dipper dessert menu.

Out of numerous replies, the only guess that Chili's replied to was the one on X about lime margaritas. With that in mind, it's likely that Chili's is hinting about announcing a new limited time flavor of frosty margarita.
