Starbucks Employees Shut Down Commonly Asked Question
If you love Starbucks and were hoping to be able to buy a drink ingredient the store has separately, we've got bad news for you.
A post on r/Starbucks on Reddit saw user Past-Inspection4977 ask about whether or not they can buy the Starbucks raspberry pearls, which were introduced in April, separately.
"Can you order just a cup full of those raspberry pearls? I’m not sure if there’s a limit on how much you can get. If anyone has tried this, let me know what they were told or if you work there, do you know if there’s a limit sorry if this sounds dumb," the user asked.
Unfortunately, the Reddit user didn't get the answer they were probably looking for.
"No because we sell drinks, not drink ingredients," one reply said.

Another Starbucks employee even went as far as to say they could get in trouble for doing that.
"Whether we can do something, whether we are willing to get in trouble over it for a stranger, and whether you're willing to pay how much it's going to cost," a different commenter explained. "But no, we are not allowed to sell drink components."
Luckily for the original poster, there were some suggestions on how to get their hands on the raspberry pearls a different way, like buying them through Amazon, for example.
Granted, those aren't from Starbucks, but it's better than nothing.
