Man, 24, dies in garden of house as three are arrested on suspicion of murder
THREE people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died in a garden of a home.
The victim, 24, had been reportedly attacked before he was found in the garden of a property in Exmouth, Devon, at around 12.45am on Saturday.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics to save his life, the man tragically died at the scene, police said.
Following his death, two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of murder.
A third man, also in his 20s, was then arrested in Exeter on suspicion of murder, with all three suspects now in custody.
DI Rob Smith from the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “I would like to thank the public for their support so far as we continue to conduct our enquiries.
“Cordons are likely to remain in place for some time yet, and I’d again like to thank residents affected for their patience and understanding.
“If anybody living in the area has any concerns, please speak to our officers at the cordon.
“There will continue to be a heightened police presence in the area as we work to deliver justice for the victim’s family.”
Police are also urgently appealing for any witnesses, or those with information about the death, to come forward.
