Aubrey Plaza Returns to Red Carpet for First Time Since Husband's Death, Premieres New Movie 'Honey Don't' at Cannes 2025

Aubrey Plaza is back on the red carpet for the first time in 2025.

The 40-year-old actress looked stunning while attending the premiere of her new movie Honey Don’t at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on Friday night (May 23) in Cannes, France.

Aubrey was joined at the event by co-stars Margaret Qualley, Charlie Day, Talia Ryder, and Lera Abova, as well as director and co-writer Ethan Coen and co-writer Tricia Cooke.

This marks Aubrey‘s first time on the red carpet since the death of her husband Jeff Baena, who died by suicide at the age of 47 back in January. It was later reported that they had separated months before his death.

Honey Don’t is a dark comedy about Honey O’Donahue (Qualley), a small-town private investigator, who delves into a series of strange deaths tied to a mysterious church.

The trailer for the movie was recently released and the film will hit theaters on August 22.
