NBC has made the decision to cancel Lopez vs. Lopez after three seasons. The news was confirmed by the network on May 10, with Deadline reporting that NBC also canceled Night Court, Suits LA, The Irrational and Found.

Actor and comedian George Lopez, who starred on the series, released an unofficial statement on social media after the news broke.

"We will definitely put something out officially… for now. I would really love to thank all of you who have showed us so much love and support for the past three seasons," Lopez captioned an Instagram post.

"This wasn’t just a show, it was and is our lives. We created a family. We created jobs for RAZA, there is so much more that goes on behind the scenes and I am forever grateful and thankful for every single member of our #LopezVSLopez familia," he added, signing the post "Tio George."

Along with his caption, Lopez included a TikTok that was posted by his daughter, Mayan Lopez, 29, who co-starred on Lopez vs. Lopez.

Fans reacted to the news in the comments section.

"I’m crushed! It meant so much to see Latinos on screen in a way that felt real and full of heart. Representation like this is so rare and so powerful—it was more than just a show, it was a reminder that our stories matter. Cheers to an incredibly talented cast and crew," one person wrote.

"Such a good and funny show," someone else said.

"Went to three tapings… hopefully we can sell the show to another network or rework it, cuz we NEED that wedding! Can you imagine how good for the audience that would be? Cmon. We manifested this far! Onward," a third fan added.
